Cooperative Opportunities
Throughout the course of the year, the GOED offers several opportunities for our community partners to work with us. Through collaborative trade show efforts, sponsorship opportunities, and advertising campaigns, we strive to find ways to work together to make South Dakota better.
Trade Show Co-op Opportunities
The GOED’s Trade Show Co-op Marketing Program gives South Dakota communities the ability to partner with the GOED in the industries that are key to South Dakota. The co-op efforts can diversify a community’s economic efforts by actively marketing and selling to specific industries. The co-op targets the largest trade show within an industry by creating a destination within the show and driving participation through GOED and community marketing efforts.
The cost to the community to participate in the Trade Show Co-op Marketing Program $1,000, plus travel expenses. Items that could be included in the $1,000 are:
- Booth space to display marketing materials
- Pre-show marketing/list development
- Publications at the show
- Earned media opportunity – story pitches
- Paid advertising
- Access to all leads created at the show
- The availability to attend hostings with companies when applicable
- Access to meet companies within the industry
- Inclusion on GOED show marketing materials
- Two South Dakota logo shirts
- Networking opportunities with industry and other communities
- Opportunity to work with trained sales staff from the state and various communities
